About The VISTA Position:
The Financial Inclusion for New Americans and returning citizens (FINA) project is part of the City’s goal to increase economic security and asset building for low income Philadelphians. The project was developed due to an unmet need in immigrant and justice involved communities and a lack of capacity to address that need. Across the Philadelphia MSA, 23.1% of individuals are unbanked or underbanked, and local and national surveys show that these populations are among the most disproportionately represented in this group. The goal of this project is to expand capacity to meet this need.
