About The VISTA Position:
Philadelphians experiencing poverty often lack access to safe and affordable housing. There are an estimated 1,400 unsheltered individuals in Philadelphia and many more people that do not have permanent places to stay during the daytime. The Hub of Hope, a new public-private-non-profit collaboration, aims to provide daytime services such as laundry, meals, and showers as well as onsite medical, dental, and case management services to the most vulnerable. The Hub of Hope VISTA will engage with non-profit organizations, establish partnerships, and support partners in order to plan and implement best practices in service provision at the Hub of Hope to meet the needs of clients while they transition to stable housing and self- sufficiency.
