Nationalities Service Center Donation Drive

December 27, 2016

Are you looking for a way to help refugees and immigrants feel welcome in our city?

Nationalities Service Center (NSC) in Philadelphia provides a wide-range of services to meet the needs of newly arriving refugees, victims of human trafficking and unaccompanied children. They are the largest and most comprehensive provider of services in the Greater Philadelphia region. Their goal is to welcome refugees, victims of human trafficking and unaccompanied children and put them on a path to self-sufficiency and create a safe and permanent residency.

The NSC relies heavily on volunteer donations to furnish their refugee apartments and clothe their refugee families. Their greatest current needs are for blankets and toys for the holiday season.

If you would like to contribute, there are many ways!

·  If you are near Philadelphia, contact Betsy at bjenson@nscphila.org to arrange drop-off of new or gently used household goods at the NSC's office in Philadelphia.

·  If you are near Lansdale, contact Alanna (currently organizing a blanket and toy drive for the NSC) at alannacleary@gmail.com to arrange pick up or drop-off of new or gently used blankets or toys near Lansdale until Dec 15

·  If you are not local or do not have items already to donate, consider donating via the organizations amazon wish list! You can select for the items to be shipped directly to the NSC. Winter clothes: http://a.co/gMUC45c, Household items: http://a.co/5DK2Daq
