About The VISTA Position:
For the past decade, Philadelphia has had the highest poverty rate of the 10 largest cities in the US. The City works to alleviate poverty by engaging volunteers to deliver critical services and by empowering residents to create sustainable solutions for their own communities. More than 60% of City departments that directly serve these populations have asked our department for support around data management. The Volunteer Platform and Database VISTA will implement City-wide volunteer and data management systems, which will build departments’ capacity to manage volunteer and civic engagement efforts.
